If you are looking for small church where you can learn, grow and exercise your talents consider joining us. We are rebuilding and would love for you to be a part of it.
We have ample parking. The church is all on one floor with handicap accessibility. It is located in the Brentwood / Brookland area of northeast Washington, DC. It is between Rhode Island and New York Avenue off Montana Avenue.
Our theme for this year is “Walking With A Purpose”
If you do whatever I command you and walk in obedience to me and do what is right in my eyes by obeying my decrees and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you. I will build you a dynasty as enduring as the one I built for David and will give Israel to you. 1 Kings 11:38.
The focus is on personal Christian growth. The pastor is leading to make disciples of Christ not dependents of a system. We are a church in transition. Come and see. We have some really nice people here and there is a place for you.

Our building used to be the United National Bank. We are located right on the corner of 14th and Montana Avenue, N.E. in Brentwood.
Brentwood is trapezoidal in its geography. HBBC is bounded by New York Avenue to the south, Montana Avenue to the east, Rhode Island Avenue NE to the north, and the tracks of the Washington Metro’s Red Line. It is serviced by the Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood Metro station.

Our Wednesday night Bible Study is an informal, intimate and an engaging opportunity for you to learn, ask questions, and get involved (as much as you would like to) in learning about God, His Word and your life. It last less than ninety minutes but can positively affect your Spiritual well being. Come in and get recharged, reaffirmed and refreshed.
